How Reflex Works

We spent a long time deciding how to organise Reflex Video so that it could make the best possible films with as many people as wanted to join.

In the past, our filming operation wasn't really organised at all. There was just a jumble of about 13 people, half of whom didn't really know what was going on.

So the way we have settled upon to organise Reflex, is to have several groups with a maximum of 5 members each. Each with its own group leader. The group leaders will then form their own group and will be able to make desicions about how the club as a hole is run.

There are 6 week periods which the groups will have to make a certain number of minutes. If the quota for example was 10 minutes, then the group could make 3, 3 minute and 20 second films, or two 5 minute films or 1, 10 minute film.

At the end of the six weeks, there is a transfer window, duing this week, the group leaders will meet and decide which films are good enough to be uploaded to the internet, and which ones aren't.

If you apply to join Reflex, the application will also not be looked at until the transfer window when anyone who applies either to join or to move group will be addressed.
